Motion for Default Judgment

If the opposing party was properly served with a complaint or petition and failed to file a timely Answer or response, you may be entitled to an Order of Default and, subsequently, a Default Judgment. This package prepares the request for entry of default and the supporting motion for judgment, including any required affidavits. An optional 30-minute phone consultation is available.

Notes: 

• Client must provide proof of proper service on the opposing party. 

• Some courts require a separate clerk’s entry of default before a default judgment can be entered — this package addresses both steps. 

• Turnaround: 3–5 business days from intake receipt (or after consultation if elected).
